I visited Handlebars in the early 1990s when it was known as "George Handlebars" and found it to be a pleasant dining establishment with good food, drinks, and reasonable prices, warranting a 5-star rating. When I saw Handlebars featured on "Hell's Kitchen," it seemed the establishment had undergone changes since my last visit. It was disappointing to learn that the restaurant had declined and ultimately closed, especially considering its long history.
