VEGETARIAN'S BEWARE!!! As with most vegetarian's as soon as I moved into the neighborhood I looked to find a good Indian restaurant. As most every vegetarian will agree, Indian food is the safest way to go without risk of meat contamination in your food. This is definitely not the case here. I gave the food an 8, as it is good and my boyfriend and I had eaten here without problems a few times. However, the last time we ordered our take out two bites into my Saag Paneer I noticed something that just did not look right. I took it out and it was a rather large piece of burnt meat. There were a couple other pieces sprinkled carelessly in the dish. Now being a true vegetarian having a piece of meat mixed in with a casserole of stewed spinach and cheese made me sick to my stomach. So, if you are a meat eater this place is great. However, I would still question the care of cooking when an Indian restaurant (Indian food being the safest cuisine for vegetarians) somehow manages to drop old cooked meat into a dish that would never call for it. I would have to question the quality of the other foods coming out of that kitchen. Maybe it was just an off night, but I just thought others vegetarians should be aware. I'm obviously not going to be a return customer.

This place looks like a real hole in the wall but the food is amazing. Very clean and friendly service. It looks like it used to be someones apartment turned into a restaurant with only enough room for 6 tables. Every dish I had was exceptional. Try the Chicken Tiki Masala. I cant get enough of it. Ask for cheese naan. Its not on the menu but they will make it for you and its great. Parking sucks, stay on the street but this is definately a favorite of mine.
