Johnny Rockets was founded on the belief that everyone deserves a place where they can escape today's complicated world and experience the food, fun and friendliness reminiscent of feel-good Americana. On June 6, 1986, the first Johnny Rockets opened on trendy Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, offering its guests fast, friendly service, a simple menu, great food and fun. Every Johnny Rockets restaurant boasts great-tasting food from a menu of all-American favorites including juicy hamburgers, hand-dipped shakes and malts and freshly-baked apple pie.
