UNCLE CHEN's RESTAURANT has existed in Long Island, New York since 1978 is now in San Fernando Valley, California. They offer Healthy Chinese food & Authentic Hunan, Szechuan, Mandarin & Cantonese Cuisine. Their experienced chefs use only the highest quality and freshest veggies, seafood, skinless chicken, and fat trimmed beef to produce the Healthiest Dishes with great flavor, and definitely use no MSG. Health Watcher's Menu: Most of the dishes on the menu can be prepared especially for health watchers. Dishes will be cooked with garlic, ginger, pepper, and Chinese seasoning, but no salt, sugar, oil, or starch are used, can also be steamed on request.

While the food here is mediocre at best, management seems to be the big problem. The restaurant manager is extremely rude, the staff is not very friendly, there is no atmosphere, and it appears dirty. The bathroom is not checked and I actually say them take a portion of another customer's uneaten rice and scrape it off the plate into their rice container. That was scary, and you can tell they freaked out when I witnessed that. They never approached me but when I asked for the owner's information, the creepy manager kept saying he was out of town overseas for "a very long time." I would never eat there again!

Super Cheap Lunch Specials and they deliver! Good food, not great...but very good. Great SOUP!!!! Excellente service and nice stmosphere.

the ny chicken chow mein is almost authentic. I don't know what it's missing, but something is missing. Also, skimpy portiond, a little overpriced
