Sushi Spot, located in Tarzana, serves up some great sushi and reasonable prices. One standout feature is that Sushi Spot serves up its sushi on warm rice, unlike most sushi places. The menu available at Sushi Spot is the standard, fill-it-out yourself sushi order menu.

The sushi at this establishment is delicious, but I believe they could benefit from expanding their variety of sushi rolls. The service is excellent, and it's clear that many locals enjoy spending time here.

The fish and rice is the best in LA. Chefs are really, really nice- will answer all questions.
If you want American-fused sushi, or are more of a novice- this might not be your restaurant. Still worth a visit to see if this place opens a door you didn't know about.
If you enjoy a more traditional Japanese sushi (that still has the option of Japanese-American cuisine) this place can't be beaten.
Sushi and Sashimi is amazing. I still haven't had a roll in over 3 years.
If you're on a budget, try the chef's special. I think it's $35 per person- a great value. The last item on the special is real blue crab. The goal is to have each item in a specific order to balance your palate throughout the meal.

This is easily the best quality sushi I have ever had in my life. If you are on a budget the cost may be a bit much, but the quality of the food cannot be beat. I have invited several of my friends here and they all agree: It's the best they've ever had. I no longer live in the area but every time I come back I make sure I stop in.

This place was recommended to me by a friend as being "great sushi at a great price". I guess he makes a lot more $$ than I do, as $70.00 barely filled up my wife and I.
I admit that the food was pretty good, but when you're paying $14.00 for a Rainbow Roll versus the $8.50 that I pay at "California Roll & Sushi" inside the Topanga Plaza, plus $2.00 for soup that is usually included, plus about twice as much for a green salad than I'm used to paying, it just seems overly priced for what you get.
The service is mediocre, as the waitress forgot one of my items and she wasn't that fast to return.
All-in-all, I'd say that if you aren't on a budget, you wouldn't mind going. But, for my dollar, I'm not going back.

This is a great sushi lunch spot. Good prices, great fish. The warm rice is very good, I must admit.

The fish here is amazing. Everything is very fresh. The Halibut Sashimi is amazing. The spicy tuna on crunch rice is great. Everything is fabulous.
