Orso Los Angeles opened on January 30, 1989 on the site of the former Joe Allen restaurant. Since then, it has become one of L.A.’s more popular dining establishments, serving film industry regulars as well as out of town guests, celebrities and the neighboring community. The main dining room is spacious and comfortable. The patio is totally tree shaded and has been described as one of the best and most beautiful in Los Angeles. The menu is very much like Orso New York and London, with a number of items changing daily. Everything is fresh, the emphasis being on great tasting, not overly complicated Italian fare. The service is tratorria style, efficient and casual. The wine list is exclusively Italian and a full bar is available.
