Have a not gone here in over 16 years, but I was one of the very first to eat here when it first opened. Mrs. Priscilla and Landa Rocha were the first Customer's there and the first dollar made was hung. Right after they came and got myself and my best friend Paul and took us there back in 70's. I remember that they did not sell Chili Cheese Fries, until I asked the chef to make them for me and soon after that, I kept asking for them and finally they added it to the menu. I remember the gentle man who was half bald that made them for me. But most of the the Family that started it, Husband Wife and daughter team Armenian I think and the other man was Greek or something. Wow what memories. Everyone from Bassett grew up on those fat Burgers! They are one of kind.. No one makes it like Chris's! It is the BOMB!

i have been eating here since 1975 and it is one of Los Angeles best place to eat when i visit LA it is a must to visit great food!!!!
