The food at this diner off Interstate 20 was delicious, with my shrimp and fish combo being cooked perfectly and the pinto soup tasting just like my mom's, complemented by a friendly staff and a cozy, small town vibe that made it a fantastic stop on our road trip.

We found Sharon's doing a phone search for "real breakfast" after an overnight hotel stay. My only regret is not finding it for dinner the night before as I'm sure I would've loved the fried chicken! Sharon's makes a wonderful and absolutely delicious homestyle breakfast. Kacey (sp?) did a great job waiting the table with a semi-full house. Coffee and water stayed full without asking. Locals are very friendly and treat you like one of their own! I can't remember the last time I got a $5 breakfast so big I couldn't eat it, very affordable! The gravy tasted just like grandma's and biscuits were homemade!
While Kacey the niece runs the diner, Sharon still makes the homemade pies and cakes and they are perfect!
Dont miss your chance for a meal here, this diner is worth the drive if you're anywhere near Arcadia Louisiana!

Good soul food at great prices. Shrimp poboys are my favorite. And the best homemade chicken fried steak and onion rings I've ever eaten!
