While passing through 2024, my family and I decided to stop at Chef Roy's in Rayne, LA for a meal during our travels. The restaurant opens at 11am for a few hours, then reopens for dinner service. Arriving early at 10:50am allowed us to secure a spot in the parking lot before it quickly filled up at 11:05am. We enjoyed the Chef Roy platter, featuring a variety of seafood dishes and the delicious eggplant fries, which were almost too much to finish. The attentive staff handled the bustling crowd with grace and humor, making our dining experience a memorable one.
