I was recently visiting my family in the area and ended up eating here several times. The food was delicious and as good as I remembered from when I lived there. The service was fantastic, they were all always very friendly and happy to see us. They have the best roast beef po boy that I had anywhere in the area. I am still thinking about it because I want one now.

The beef tips were kinda bland but overall it was decent. The dirty dish bins and cart toting them had caked on food that had ran down cart legs and dried. This cart held two totes and they each were decorated with areas of smeared dried food all along the outside This obviously was not freshly deposited and undoubtedly teaming with bacteria.
The plates and silverware were clean but still. This cart and totes are in plain sight of not only customers but more importantly the managing staff.. 1-22-2020. This used to be a cleaner place to eat . I m a former Bastrop resident in town visiting. I doubt I will be back to PT 's

I ordered peas that had no season and they were very dry. The meatloaf had gravy that was made out of tomato paste that looked like it was served directly out of the can. Very disappointed

Food is not warm when it comes from kitchen. GRAVY is always like warm. Ordered extra gravy to try and warm what I have and have showed them that drinking it straight from kitchen in cup that it is not hot!! I have brought this to their attention too many times!! No change!!
