I go to Vidalia 2 times each year. I always eat at Nikki's at least 2 times. If you want authentic food from the area, you will not get find anything that is more authentic than this place. I have been eating at Nikki's since it was first opened as Robin's in Ferriday. As someone raised in the MissLou area of Louisiana and taught to cook there (Some dishes by Nikki's family members), I can tell you it is the real thing.

Do not go there if you expect to eat a formal meal. There is no formallity there, just good ole girls and boys and an extremely friendly atmosphere with friendly service, exceptional food, and folks of every kind having dinner.

Go for lunch, enjoy the atmosphere of the friendly folk of my youth, and have the Okra fritters for me while you are there.

Nikki's has great food and service. I have eaten there many times and all that i have eaten there has been great. The pies are awesome.

I have been to Nikki's on 4 different occasions and have had wonderful food and service on all 4. The Hamburger Steak is amazing, as is the fried seafood. Great value for your money.
