I recently had an experience at Leaders Fried Chicken that left me feeling a bit disheartened. One day, a lady became very rude towards me because I mistakenly overlooked a pepper count. Despite that encounter, my overall experiences at Leaders have been positive. The food has consistently exceeded my expectations, especially the fried fish and okra. It's a place I look forward to visiting again.

I eat at Leaders at least twice a month since the new owners have taken over. The food is great and so is the customer service. In fact, I think the chicken is more crispy than before. Onions are still great. Can't speak for the other menu items. The only negative comment would be I wish they would expand the menu to have spicier chicken! Thank you and by for now.

First time eating since new owners took over. Rice dressing, which was very good before, was horrible. We ordered onion rings but got a large order of fries. The chicken was so greasy that I couldn't eat. Sad to see a staple In our town go down like this. I called in my order but still had to wait for onion rings! Will jot be back.

quality of food is very good to excellent. However, the speed of service is subpar. I walked in tonight for a take out order, 8pc and onion rings, walked out the door with the order 50 minutes later. Several people besides myself waited a very long time also. this is not the first time I have had to wait. Ever since new management took over, the delay has gotten abysmal
I am going back to Popeyes, same really. I really like the food..

Can't get what you order. Food is cold and soggy. Service is horrible.

Chicken done right. Never had a bad meal from there, always hot out of the oil. very good, very fast.

They do not wear mask. Cooks window worker eat. Went to pick up order and left it there.

I've just moved here from Lafayette, La and was told about how great the food was here. And the customer service was excellent. So today I GPS'ed my self here. And they were absolutely right. The staff was were knowledgeable, kind and friendly.
Food was excellent!! Keep it up guys and girls!!

When I was a kid we had Danny's Fried Chicken in our town of Central. I loved that chicken. Leaders reminds me of Danny's. The food at Leaders is awesome. We eat there at least one a week.

The food was good.. the service stinks. I love love love the St. Amant location!! Clean and FRIENDLY!! The Gonzales location is rude!! The cashier can't read or count money! I would recommend Leaders food.... but like I said, the Gonzales location is awful. I saw them not only treat a lady rudely today, but laughed about it when she left. Oh... and phone in more than 2 orders and expect to use the pick up window. We had 3 orders and they made me pull out and park!! LOST OUR LUNCH TIME BUSINESS!!!!

We love us some Leaders!! The entire menu is great... and the service is usually with a smile! Prices are reasonable! Think we'll get some tonight!

I have been getting fried chicken and catfish from Leaders for 25 years. I've tried KFC and Popeye's, and while they are good, Leaders is a much better value. They have much lower cost of busiess as they use the basics. You won't find a "logo" on the containers or drinks and they don't advertise. This helps keep the price down. And they have many extras like fried okra, onion rings, fried gizzards and livers, dirty rice, etc. You need to try it.
