It was gross!!! My friends and I will never go back.The gumbo was really gross.Trust me you'll waste your money.

I live on the Gulf Coast and formerly New Orleans where good food is a mainstay. We found Janie Browns (very close to la. heart hospital) looking for a restaurant between test. This is the best seafood bar none. I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. If I lived closer, I would probably eat there constantly. Can't say enough about her food.

Everything at Janie Brown’s is excellence. The Restaurant is sometimes hard to find because it sits off Hwy 190 a little more than you might expect; but The Restaurant is worth looking for.
I recommend anything that has the “Michelle sauce” BBQ shrimp or fired soft-shell crab.
Absolutely the best food on the North Shore.
