I first visited this restaurant approx. 1 year ago because a friend works there and he suggested that we come to see him and eat at the establishment. We started with the hot tamales as an appitizer. They were the closest tasting tamales to Manuals tamales I've ever tasted. They were delicious! My husband and I then ordered the fried eggplant platter and seafood platter. (We always order different so we can try different foods) I must say that what we both had was top notch! The crispiness of the batter on the fried food was light and delicious! It had a great flavor. Even being so full, we forced ourselves to get some dessert. We got the Bread Pudding. It had the best tasting sauce on top that I could have ate the entire dessert on my own. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits Bogalusa to dine. I also want to add that the owners make their way around the dining room to introduce their selves and make sure we were enjoying our food.

Crawfish beignets, soft shell crab, divine wish we lived closer. My husband's favorite is Catfish Annie .

One of my favorite places to eat in Bogalusa. Always great food , wonderful owners and employees !!!!!

I got double charged on dec. 20th and have tried everyday since dec 23 to get my $33.51 back and I have yet to receive it as of jan 7th. I've been told every 5 days since Dec. 23 that it would be 5-7 days and have finally had to write a letter for my bank to get my refund since the company I paid cant seem to refund the DOUBLE CHARGE that they charged to me within a 3 minute period.
Needless to say there customer service is AWFUL.
Food is ok, nothing great, atmosphere is loud most of the time with alot of chatter in a crowded dining area. Nothing special.
