If your in the mood for a home style meal or breakfast just like yo mama and granny used to make Good Eats is the place you need to be. The food is always hot and ready and so soothing to the stomach and soul. My friends and I recommend Good Eats.

The food is ok but the very large lady with the limp in the back ( owner ??) was very rude!!! And cook wasn't anything to brag about. You could hear him complaining about customers in the dining room. I was told that they have been in this business for a long time. Very unbelievable due to their LACK of customer service!! Would not recommend!!!!!! Waffle house is just as good if not better and without the ATTITUDE!!!!!

I found this little place on a visit to LA for the Mardi Gras. I wish I lived here. This was the most wholesome, friendly moms diner I have ever been in. I got breakfast at 1:00pm on a Sunday. The waitress was so efficent and most of all funny. She gave my children ring pops, Who does that anymore? Never had to ask for anything, she was right on it. Only 8 tables and if you don't get there at the right time, you'll have to wait and it's WORTH IT. I'll be back

This place is awesome! Two people can eat for a very small price. Me and my family have made this our meet up place for breakfast. The service is the best you will ever find "Anywhere"!! AAA+ Food is tasty, I love this place, fresh food, fresh taste, the best Place to eat in Slidell ever. We are regulars and they know us by our names. The atmosphere is cozy,but can get crowded. Word of mouth sure has spread because sometimes the tables fill up fast. I am hoping they will expand just enough to have more space available.

The price for the food is fantastic for a low budget. You get what you pay for, and the service is by far the best I've seen compared to some 5 star restaurants. It's a great family owned operation, and is growing in popularity in Slidell. I have not found another restaurant anywhere that meets my expectations of what a "homey" restaurant should be than this one.
