The boudin is exceptional, and the cracklings are some of the best around. The plate lunches are delicious, but the new location lacks the charm of the original spot.

I think they pre-cook the burgers then heat it up when somebody orders one.
My last burger was on the verge of being a hockey puck.

My husband bought us barbecue plate lunches today. I had brisket. Absolutely delicious and so tender. Last time I had a barbecue lunch the potato salad was not good at all, well this time they must have changed cooks because it was delicious. Great job!!

Last two times I've gotten food at Charlie T's was absolutely disgusting. I had spinach egg rolls fried chicken the egg rolls was just spinach in there, no pepper jack cheese, no seasoning in there. The fried chicken was not fresh, not seasoned, dry. The best time I stopped by I had their cheeseburger. Omg nasty. The patty was burnt. Today my sister in law brought me a barbecue pre-K plate lunch. The potato salad was so disgusting I had to spit it out. Idk what happened to the quality of their food but it's not worth spending your money. I use to go over there when Timmy and that long blonde haired lady used to work there. I think her name was Pat. Their food was delicious. They need lessons from them.
