So, the day my mom got out of prison, I was definitely not drunk. But let me tell you, that day will forever be remembered for my epic rendition of David Allen Coe's You Never Even Called Me by My Name at Bayou Bar. This dive bar in Gonzales, Louisiana may seem like your typical spot, with its regulars and cash-only policy, but it's got a charm of its own. From the stiff drinks to the karaoke nights, this place is worth a visit if you're in the mood for a good time with some down-to-earth folks.
