If I could give six stars, I would-Debarge's is an absolute treasure for Cajun food, featuring crawdaddies the size of lobsters. Every visit to Alexandria has me stopping for their spicy crawfish, boudin balls, and fried shrimp, and the friendly service just adds to the experience.

Debarges has the best tasting crawfish in central Louisiana. I had the crawfish and shrimp mix and it was delicious. My husband and fish and oh my... The gal that took my order was as sweet as ever. My new place to go

Beware!!! I went by today and had ordered 7 pounds of crawfish with 8 potatoes. When I got home I noticed it looked a bit light on crawfish so I pulled out the potatoes and weighed the crawfish still in the bag... Even still being in the big paper and plastic bag it weighed only 5.12 pounds! THIS PLACE WILL SHORT YOU CRAWFISH!!! And with it being about $5 per pound that's just unacceptable. I called and they would not correct it. I WON'T BE BACK!

Ate crawfish for the first time on Saturday. They were of excellent quality, medium to large size, and superbly cooked. Actually, what you should expect for the hefty price they charge. Had them again on Wed. and they were of good quality and superbly cooked but small "ditch" crawfish. Not what you would expect for the price.
