If you do happen to go to Momma's BBQ (Hurstbourne Lane location), DO NOT go on Monday! I have been a frequent customer of Momma's for a few years now, and 9 times out of 10 I have been satisfied overall. However, upon my most recent visit there, it made me never want to return. When I walked in, the place was pretty empty, which was fine and I was greeted by the manager. After he got my drink (water w/ lemon), he preceded to tell me that my server would be right out. She never came, but instead someone else did after waiting awhile. She half mumbled to me and looked rough, almost like she was on drugs. I ordered my food which did not come out looking like it should, but after eating what was edible, I asked for a refill on my water. When she brought me a refill, there was a bug floating in the glass. I got my check immediately, paid and left. It is easily one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had and as much as it hurts to say, I will no longer be eating there. So, all I can say is..Proceed with caution if you decide to eat there and ask for either of the ladies named Emily.
