Amidst the busyness of the University of Madison campus, the Kollege Klub hides at the corner of Lake and Langdon. With no extravagant sign or entrance, the Kollege Klub is easy to pass by without noticing. The entrance is unnoticeable, must like that of the Leaky Cauldron of Harry Potter. Walking through the door is even more like the magical bar from Harry Potter. Those behind the counter are regular and genuinely friendly, unlike many waiting staff of other restaurants. You will find no “flare” here, only the loud, bellowing voice of the restaurant manager. The space beyond the booths has only four tables, making it look extremely empty in front of the vast screen showing various sports games. The lighting all over the restaurant is dim, and the decorations keep the mood very relaxed. Various team logos and names are shown off above the bar, many of them with a very old-school feel to it. This restaurant can lighten up any bad day just by the genuine relaxing mood of it.
