My friends and I ventured into the cozy dive bar owned by the charismatic Randy, soaking in the relaxed atmosphere and savoring the crisp, cold beers before he had to step out, leaving us in the capable hands of a friendly substitute bartender for the evening. Engaging in lively banter with the colorful regulars of the Cage, nestled below the grand shadow of an ancient stone Catholic cathedral, we ended our night on a high note with a top-shelf shot of Protestant whiskey. The buzz around town about the Sunday special-a delectable $10 prime rib feast that disappears quickly-sparked our interest, prompting us to make plans to arrive early and indulge in the mouthwatering offer before it vanished.
