Today, I visited South Sea but found it closed, so I discovered another nearby Chinese restaurant instead. Despite the average presentation, the food at this place was surprisingly delicious and worth trying again.

Before this last time it was good food and service. Food for 4 people roughly 50. Last time I went food took 1hr45min. Charged 70 for the exact same meal. Haven't been back since.

Upon placing my order for PuPu for 2 and seafood delight which came up to 40 dollars and change i paid with a $50 and she only gives back a few coins we i ask where the rest of my change 9 dollars to be exact she gave it to me. Her actions were deliberate also food is sub standard .. eggrolls were bad , Chicken not cooked well, barbaque ribs dry and not edible, Beef teriyaky dry , Seafood delight had a lot of sealegs 1 piece lobster 2 scallops a few shrimp. Over all my experience was terrible food was to be ready in 15 minutes to took over 30 and with almost No business.. Save your Money this crummy business should be shut down. Also No one wears a mask. SHUT them Down.

this is the best chinese restaurant in the city. Everything on their menu is very authentic, just like being in Shanghai. The owners are very nice and professional people. I have never ever had a problem with Golden City, it's the only Chinese Restaurant I will even go to

I've have been ordering from Golden City for years. The price is a great match to the quantity received, and there is a combination on the menu that will suit just about anyone. It lacks an atmosphere for an eat in restaurant, though perfect for take out or delivery.

The owners have always treated my family with courtesy and respect, and it is clear that they work hard to keep this family owned business up and running. I would suggest it to anyone who is hungry for chinese in the Lewiston or Auburn area.

DO NOT... NOT ... NOT.. ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! WOMAN(OWNER I PRESUME) GAVE A TOTAL OF AROUND 25.00 FOR 2 DINNER COMBO'S. DRIVER CAME AND GAVE MY SPOUSE THE BILL, THAT WAS ALMOST DOUBLE!

I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THERE, SAME WOMAN CALLED ME LIAR, THEN HUNG UP WHEN I DEMANDED THEY COME RIGHT BACK, TAKE THEIR FOOD, AND REFUND MY MONEY. THIS WAS NOT MORE THAN 2 MINUTES AFTER THE DELIVERY GUY LEFT. I DIDN'T EVEN OPEN THE BAG IT CAME IN. NO WAY. NO WAY AT ALL ANYONE CAN CONFUSE OR MISUNDERSTAND 25 FROM 47... THEN, SINCE I WAS STUCK WITH THE ORDER WE TRIED TO FOOD.

IT WAS REFRIGERATOR COLD(YES, IT SAT OUT FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES, BUT SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN NEAR AS COLD SINCE THEY ARRIVED NOT MORE THAN 15 MINUTES, BASED ON MY PHONES CAL LO,. AND THE BEST PART.. THE FOOD ITSELF WAS HORRIFIC!

WHEN MY HUSBAND TRIED TO CAL THEM BACK HIMSELF, THEY REFUSED TO ANSWER THE PHONE.. THEN HE REALIZED HE HAS ALREADY SPOKE WITH THIS WOMAN ABOUT 1 HOUR BEFORE I CALLED. HE PLACED AN ORDER, ASKED FOR THE TOTAL AMOUNT, AND IT WAS A LOT HIGHER THAN HE CALCULATED FROM THEIR ON LINE MENU, LISTED ON YELLOW PAGES.COM.

HE POLITELY CANCELLED THE ORDER WHILE TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO HER THE YELLOW PAGES AD THEY HAD SHOWED LOWER PRICES, AND ADVISED HER TO CONTACT THEM.. SHE HUNG ON UP HIM, LOL

I CALLED NOT KNOWING THAT WAS WHO HE SPOKE WITH. NOW IT IS CLEAR TO ME WHY I WAS TOLD 1 AMOUNT ON THE PHONE, AND THE ORDER ARRIVED MORE THAN 20.00 HIGHER! THIS WAS A DELIBERATE SCAM, AND I WILL SEE TO IT THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES ARE INVESTIGATED THOROUGHLY

I like this place the price is right location is good and the food is tasty,customer service has never been great but the food is good.

The food here sux. The husband who delivers the food doesnt know how to close a door even in the dead of winter or speaks english.
If you like to pretend you're a sprinkler with your legs straight out when you poop I'd avoid this place.
Poor customer service as well.

I just ordered some crab rangoons that tasted horrid they were soggy and tasted oniony and one of them had no filling the bag was so greasy there was a hole in it the general Tao's chicken was not good either and rice clumped they also took forever to get to me
