The service and food were fantastic! My husband ordered a club sandwich and I had an omelet, both cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly and efficient, and we received our food promptly despite the busy restaurant.

Family restaurant it is not. During my visit this morning one waiter calls another an a#shole from across the bar. Several times I head the f bomb coming from inside the kitchen, and one cook walked out to the dinning area and loudly directed to the kitchen " you mother f##kers". If you have children and do not want to subject them to this crude environment stay away

I have eaten breakfast there a couple of times; once was very good, once not so good (the bacon was really less than crisp). Last night I went for dinner and ordered the baked salmon with mixed vegetables - green beans, two different colored carrots, and red peppers - and a baked potato. The potato was green outside and under cooked and dark colored inside obviously and old potato. The mixed vegetables were extremely over cooked. Surprisingly the salmon was ok. I should have stopped there but ordered Boston Cream pie for dessert. The "cake" was very dry, the frosting looked like it was spread with someone's finger and there wasn't much of that. The waitress looked shocked when I told her that it wasn't good and then she wanted to give me a box to take it home at which point I simply asked for the check. I probably won't go there again unless I hear they are under new management or have upgraded significantly. I work hard for my money and when I go out to eat I expect to enjoy a delicious, fresh meal. Sorry Fairground Cafí©, three strikes and you're out.

We eat here as often as possible. Great food. Great service. Of all the places we could have gone, my wife and I chose Fairground Cafe to celebrate our 21st anniversary.

I don't know how anyone could say anything about this place is gross! The food here on most days is fantastic for the price. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, and the owner is a genuinely good person. Every restaurant has their days, grow up......

We were a large group and all of us were superbly taken care of. The food was fantastic and the prices, if not the lowest, very competitive. We will return frequently.

I went there today for breakfast. Everything was cooked perfectly. The service was quick and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely return soon and will recommend this restaurant to everyone I know!
The coffee was really good, too.

Dependable American fare, food arrives timely once the order is placed, good portion sizes, extremely reasonable prices, in an atmosphere that while frequently busy is comfortable but by design not luxurious. Good at what it attempts to accomplish.
