Amazing service

We have a summer place near by and have stopped in often. We never expect the best but, it is close and the food has usually been passable. Over the last couple of years the prices have crept up, but not the quality. For the same prices you can do much better.

Our last trip, was indeed, our LAST trip. There were two servers, and four tables occupied. We watched two other tables come and leave, while we waited for the fish chowder soup which was supposed to "come out first". Finally, after waiting a half hour, then reminding the waitress, then waiting another 15 mins. it came. It was warm milk, potatoes and a few SMALL flakes of fish.

We politely complained and decided to leave. We were told we still had to pay for our dinners since we had ordered them and they were "up". We told the waitress "no" and she motioned to Kathy who was in the kitchen and only came out to communicate reluctantly when I yelled to her to come and talk to her customers. She was rude, told us we had not waited a half hour, and the soup was full of fish. We left $10 for our ice tea and the untouched cup of warm milk.

It is conveniently located but, don't waste your time or money.

The crab bisque was imitation crab in a Campbell's -like crwam of myshroom soup. The crackers were stale. The quiche was overpriced and also had imitation crab. The lunch special haddock was greasy and luke-warm. Everything that came to the table tasted bad. We couldn't believe any cook would want to send these plates out of his or her kitchen. We also couldn't believe it cost us 45$ for the small portions of honestly terrible food. Do not waste your money here.
