The service was efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting. The menu offered a variety of familiar Chinese dishes, and the General Tao Chicken plate I ordered was delicious.

Today I ordered #10 combination dinner . as I was eating my meal I bit something that was hard . well guess what? It was a piece of metal substance . I will NEVER order from them again

Who ever heard of a restaurant that offers takeout service, then takes the phone off the hook. That explains why there are never any customers, very poor service, the owner actually once asked if I left a tip! To add insult to injury the food comes out cold. Bring back the original owners to run the business right.

Out of work. Treated ourselves to meal out to support business. Food horrible!! Rice was saturated w soy sauce and was too salty to eat. Make egg rolls that are okay, but not as good as the old way. Barbecue ribs weren't fit to eat. Dried, hard and no flavor!!! Don't order peas w chicken unless you like the taste of rubber chicken they have replaced the old chunks with. Very disappointing to waste our money!!

Worst Chinese food I've ever had. I thought the food was bad under the previous owners but it's actually worse now. The egg drop soup had mushrooms, carrots and peas in yet (who does that!), and yet, was completely bland. The beef Szechuan was more like vegetable chop suey with the predominant ingredients being celery and peanuts! Hardly any beef.
Use your money for gas to drive to Farmington or Auburn for decent Chinese food.

Ib love eating there. water is free and they actually speak with you while yuo eat sometimes. When they do if you have aaid they a re ezxtra kind.

The worst service I've ever experienced. Wait staff is rude, owner is worse. When I complained to the owner I was told if I didn't like it I didn't need to come back. When they are busy they turn business away by taking the phone off the hook. Don't give them your business, they don't appreciate it.

One of the very good Chinese places in the area. Sometimes I prefer doing take out versus dining at the restaurant. The decor is great and plates are nice but service is lacking. I think they know their food is so good they don't need to focus on customer service.

Their take-out service is absolutely poor. After trying to call them for more than an hour to place a take-out order, I drove there. When I entered the restaurant, and reported that they may have a phone accidentally off the hook, the young girl at the register said, "ya I know, we took it off the hook." If any business can do something like that, then they obviously don't need or want my business again!

The service was horrible. Waitress was rude. Food was over cooked and lacking of flavor. I would not recommend this place or would I ever eat there again.

Am from Connecticut and find the food at Far East the best I have had in a very long time.
The wonton soup is best I've ever had

the food was excellent and you get so much for your dollar I wish on the combinations they would substitute the rice for chop sue or low mein even if you have to pay extra I was told no substitute or no rice at all worth considering

I love China Wok in Auburn. AMAZING food, service and prices are great. They are polite and care about the patrons who pay the wait staffs wages. Been in the Mexico area several times and stopped at Far East. I must say the food is good. The prices are higher than the Lewiston/Auburn area. But, the service stinks. The wait staff is rude, always wait a long time for service. You sit and sit before someone comes to take your order and the food takes even longer to be served. The food came to our table half complete or the wrong order was placed on the table. When they are told the order is wrong the wait staff shows an attitude. Wait staff refuses to do anything above placing the plates on the table. Myself and dozens of my family and friends will be going to Lewiston/Auburn.

food is very good the last 10 times ordering out it took 2 trips they cant seem to get the full orders at supper time

Not what I would say the best Chinese food around. I don't care for the menu because it doesn't let you know what side dish goes w/entree. Trying to put a order together for X-Mas but unsure of what goes with what. Many places give the the choice if fried rice or low mein but here you are charged for changes. I think w/economic hard times they would be willing to serve without addition cost!

Our family enjoys the food at the Far East about once a week. The service is good and they are good about making menu substitutions also.
