There's a fantastic restaurant downtown that serves the best tacos I've ever tasted. You have to check out their secret sauce; it really takes the flavors to the next level!

Decided to take a ride and ended up in Rangeley . Half the restaurants were closed . The last big weekend of summer. Was very surprised . The places I wanted to go to were closed so we ended up here as it was more out of town and not in the tourist trap section . Seemed like a more upscale place to eat. Found a street parking spot as we could not find a parking lot . Walked up the stairs to a nice patio where you could sit outside . Had to wait for them to "sanitize" the tables . After seeing how they did that we should have left but we were hungry . Finally sat down , sat and sat while the table over had their pet dog barking . About a half hour later one of the two waitresses finally came over and asked if we wanted to order a drink . It was starting to get chilly and crowded and asked if it was busy inside . She said no so we went inside . Ordered a coffee and a coke . She brought us our drinks. I ended up with Diet Coke no straw . My guest had maxwell house coffee. The table was dirty. Ordered calamari as an app. No silverware or napkins or salt and pepper. The calamari was not what I expected . I don't think it was fully cooked . Didn't eat that . Ordered a pork bbq sandwich with potato wedges. The sandwich was good the wedges were so cooked there was no potato inside . Good thing we ordered onion rings as well . They were the breaded frozen type. The service was the worst I've ever received at a restaurant !! I had to ask for everything I should have received ! A straw , napkin , salt and pepper ! Never mentioned the wrong drink , raw calamari and nasty coffee or dirty table . A real disappointment. I thought this would have been better than a diner but this was worse than any diner I've been too. Maybe this would be an ok place if you just want pizza and beer and have all day to hang out and wait . They have a very very limited paper menu . If you can only cook 5 dinner entrees and a few apps make sure they are good and cooked right . Jesus . Anyone can make a pizza ! We will not be back and I will not recommend your place . It might help if you hire more help like another waitress and a chef .
