Went for lunch today. Food was great. Haddock shrimp chowder was great. Service was fine. Loved it. Place was clean and very busy

Since reopening the quality of the food has gone downhill. Items have been eliminated from menu. Waitresses are horrible. No knowledge of the menu. Be prepared to wait, kitchen is slow

We went to Vittles about a year ago, and we sat and waited without menus for about 20 minutes, while everyone else was taken care of, and it was not busy. We liked the food, but we decided to eliminate Vittles from our list of restaurants, after that. When we requested the menu, everyone looked around at everyone else, as if to say, I thought you did that.
A few weeks ago we decided to give it another shot. We walked in, and all the booths were taken except the 2 with reserved signs on them. We asked the waitress if they were actually reserved, as we prefer booths because of medical issues. She said yes. So we left and do not plan to return to Vittles. Customer service seems to be out the window there. Good food, very poor service!

The food just blew us away. Fresh, Fresh, Fresh. Everything we have tried has been phenomenal !! Can't wait for the weekend dinner specials, or the weekend eggs benni for breakfast. This is our 2nd time eating here this week. We have driven past Vittles for 2 years and never checked it out. Never will that happen again. If you stop by for your 1st time, you will be amazed at the quality of the food and the amount you get for the price. The staff pulls it all together with their smiles and dedication.

Best onion rings on the East Coast. The shaved onion rings are to die for. Vittle's is the undiscovered treat my wife and I discovered two years ago on our way to Calais ME. Great service and friendly staff. Stopping there today.

This homey eatery is a hidden gem. We arrived 2 minutes before closing on a Sunday. They opened the door and invited us in. Our lunch was delicious! All Homemade. Attentive, friendly service. I would certainly recommend Vittles for a satisfying experience at lunchtime.
