The best food in mankato!!!! They have the freshest food with awsome flavors and taste! You won't find a finer asian restraunt in the kato area. So take my word on it you won't be disappointed or feel hunger when you leave. The service is so freindly and cater to your needs and wants. Well now talking about all this great food I'm hungery so off to Pho Saigon I go! Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We eat there frequently and have never had anything but the best food! The egg rolls are to die for! The service is excellent and we always enjoy talking to the owner after our meal! They've been closed due to a wedding out of the country and we can't WAIT for them to get back and open!

I eat there frequently. Having lived in Asia for several years, I can tell you this is the best noodles and broth in town. They make the broth from scratch, daily; no commercial mixes. The chinese-type food is typical stuff seen many places.
Go with the Vietnamese food. Trust me.

If you like asian food but are tired of the sugar syrup style asian food so often served, then Pho Saigon is the place to go. So good. I could eat their soup every day. I hope they stay around for a long time. Try it!!! My favorite place in Mankato by far!!

For the people complaining about stuff in their food...it happens. Nothing is perfect. You eat and breathe dirt every single day so stop complaining if you got a little piece of something in your food. Pull it out and throw it away. I've eaten there probably 20 times now and never had an issue. If I did have an issue, I'd ask for another dish. It's food service. Work in food service once and you will see how it really is. But these guys are legit. I'm ordering some takeout right now.

I have had the pleasure of eating here several times! Their food is always good, the service always friendly and their egg rolls are the best I ever had!! I would recommend this to anyone who likes soup and fresh ingredients!

The same thing just happened to me as the review below. Small plastic flakes in my food. Unfortunately, I got my meal as take out. I called to let them know and they tried to tell me it was lemon grass...no, it isn't. I will be bringing the plastic back to them after work. very scary.

Hello.
I am a former vice—president of the Korean Student Association at MSU Mankato.
I am sending this email to let you know (to warn) that you need to think carefully if you have a plan to have a meal at “Pho Saigon”, the Vietnamese restaurant at Mankato (front of Home Depot).
My girlfriend and I had dinner at the restaurant yesterday, and my girl friend chewed a piece of metal pot cleaner during the dinner time.
It was in her food. The owner admitted their fault front of us (include a policeman).
And, you know what? The last thing that the owned asked us is “What do you want?” rudely with his arms across his chest.
We were all three people (another person was my friend.).
In addition, do you know the last thing that the owned asked us? Pay for the two meals.
We paid because there was a policeman front of us. The police man said he couldn’t help us because it was not a criminal issue.
FYI, I still have the piece of metal pot cleaner, and I took a picture of the piece.
Check the attachment file, the picture, out right now.
(the attachment file, the message that I sent yesterday to the Governor Pawlenty, includes the picture).
In a word, BE CAREGUL and THINK AGAIN if you have a plan to have a meal at “Pho Saigon”, the Vietnamese restaurant at Mankato (front of Home Depot).
Thank you for reading my message.
