The Drift Inn, now under new ownership, impressed my wife and me with its delicious food and great service. The peaceful atmosphere and lovely water view added to our enjoyable dining experience.

All I can say is WOW! Words could not express my feelings. "DRIFT INN" I am the one that won the Early Bird Prize at Hollywood Carnival. I was touched beyond words to receive your note when I opened the envelope. YES"¦ I am sentimental. Your thoughtfulness is a gift I will always cherish & treasure. I just want you all to know that I am truly humbled and grateful for your generosity. I so appreciate your thoughtfulness of the gift I received. We had a great meal - shrimp and fish. Husband loved the soup. Fish was good and plenty of it . sweet potato fires were excellent. All in all a good meal Service was good. I thought a little pricy but we don't eat out often so we were OK with it.
We will go back!

this is the best crab house we have been to, service is always good, when seated you have room to get out of your seat without hitting the person at the next table which is so nice, crabs are always full and large. I see some people are complaining about service but ours has always been really good or at least we get everything we need in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Worst crab house ever. Owner's daughter has a horrible attitude and treats customers badly, so hope you don't run into her! Crabs were ok but small- definitely not the best around when there are so many other options nearby.

I go to Drift Inn several times each season, sometimes with a friend and sometimes with some of the family, especially for their crabs. They are excellent..best crabs around. They also have other foods, such as crab cakes, oysters, french fries, corn on the cob, etc. Not sure who the other reviewers got as their waiter/waitress, but I have always gotten good service from Dianne and a young guy but I don't know his name. There is also a blonde named Kitten who has been there for many years who is good. The owners, Mr. & Mrs. Copsey, are usually there and ready to chat with you. Since this restaurant is on the water, some people come in their boat to eat because there is a pier they can use.

THE ABSOLUTE WORSE SERVICE EVER. TRUST ALL YOU READ ABOUT THIS PLACE. THE FOOD IS OKAY BUT NO WAY WORTH THE INSANE TREATMENT TO GET IT.....WHEN YOU FINALLY DO. ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH TO RATE.

Crabs were so-so, other food was horrible. But the most unbelievable part was the terrible service - the worst dining experience I've ever had actually. I've never seen a waitress be so blatantly rude before. They'll never see me there again.
