Gallo's has a wide variety of Italian deli food ( tuna and chicken salad, cheeses, soup, olive oil, cold cuts). The store is typically packed with customers midday through early afternoon. Customers should call in orders early and pick it up when it's convenient for them. Parking is limited. They only accept cash. The gas station next door does have an ATM machine.

Service was quick when I called ahead for our order, and we enjoyed fresh food for under $20. A top-tier spot for delicious subs and salads with friendly service and great value.

1st thing-Cash Only & Closed on Mondays. Because I don't want you to disappointed and not be able to get their delicious food. Their salads are simple the best! I get dressing on the side and a large last for 2-3 meals! They have 3 choices for sub rolls, I like the hard one, but any of them will help make a great sub. I discovered this place when I worked nearby, now I've retired for 6 years and travel 40 minutes for their food!

Best Italian Sub anywhere.

The BEST subs in the DC/MD/VA area. This place is a hidden gem in Capitol Heights/Forestville. Quality bread, quality meats. They are no more expensive than Subway but the quality surpasses Subway. My favorite is the Corned Beef on Medium bread. Their salads are good too.
