We have always stayed at the motel and ate at Capt. Tyler's, since they are the only 2 running establishments in Crisfield. This year was disappointing. We went to the restaurant to eat and was seated. At the same time the Manager had seated an older couple and then came over to say hi to us as she always Since then the older couple got waited on. 3 other tables came in and a boat pulled up. the 3 tables and boat had their orders placed and starting to eat before anyone came to take our drink orders! This only happened because my husband yelled at the one waitress who was taking another tables order. Finally a waitress came to take our drink orders and we gave her our food order as well. We still sat waiting on our drinks for an hour! The Manager came out to greet people and my husband went to speak to her, he explained that we were there at the same time that she was seating the older couple and she told my husband sir I do not seat people - my husband said yes you do, you once seated us and we seen you today as any other time we have been there. She just passed it off as nothing and started to walk away until my husband followed her then she turned around and asked my husband what we ordered. It was still another 15 minutes after speaking with her that we finally got our drinks and the waitress told us that the kitchen was behind. now we are going on an hour and half. we were getting ready to leave when our food came. yes the food was good as always. My husband and I are sad because the Manager never once came over to apologize for the wait or acknowledge the situation. We will go to the boat docking as always but it may be at another location. Sorry that we have decided to not come back, we usually stay 3 nights, this year we could only do 1 because of working. We could have stayed elsewhere but we chose what we always have before, I guess next year will be our change.
