During a family trip to Southern MD, we ventured to Leonardtown on New Year's Eve and decided to dine at The Rex. Despite arriving early, we were promptly seated, and the service was commendable even with our large group. The menu offered a variety of bar food options, and while my shrimp etouffee was a bit underwhelming, other dishes like the birria tacos and grilled cheese received high praise from my family. The cozy atmosphere, attentive staff, and outdoor patio make The Rex a great choice for a casual dining experience in Leonardtown.
