Needs a change. Dishes are bland and over cooked vegetables. Im from Carolina and this doesn't match

We are extremely disappointed at Carolina kitchen in brandywine; their unprofessionalism and lack customer service is definitely unmatched. My husband placed an order over the phone at 8:36 P.M. Then dove 25 minutes to pick it up. Once he got there the chains were on the door and locked. All of the workers were still inside. He called and they answered the phone and he explained he was outside to pick up order. The guy he spoke with said sorry we are closed that he did not arrive in time. Why not tell us you are closing in less than 20 minutes before taking my order, especially when all internet outlet states close at 10PM. In my opinion, this is horrible customer service and everyone eating outside that heard the conversation were in disbelief. We have never felt so dismissed from a food establishment like this before, and I'm sure the owner wouldn't be pleased that his customers were treated as such. Their behavior tells me they do this often and I am not the only one that saw this behavior. My family have eaten here many of times, but do not think we will be returning.
