The seafood House offers a great dining atmosphere perfect for enjoying delicious crabs. The crabs were reasonably priced and were a great size, very meaty, and flavorful. Mick's Crab House is a fantastic spot for crabs and drinks, with excellent service and a welcoming crowd.

This was the worst stop I made traveling to SC. Place was dirty, service slow, crabs old and cold. I asked to have $ refunded or get another meal and the manager pretty much showed us the door and demanded we pay. I have never been treated so rudely ever! Don't go in this place!

This is the worst restaurant experience of my life! I went Friday night and it took 10 minutes to get seated (NO ONE was up front) . Then the food was awful. I got rockfish and my husband got shrimp. The meal was cold and chewy. When I complained, the manager blessed us out. I will NEVER return to this dump!

Oh, wow, wished I saw these reviews before wasting time here. I HATE THIS PLACE! Went last Friday night and the service was slow, the crabs recooked, and nasty, nasty, nasty manager wanted to hear nothing about it. We paid for a horrible meal and will never return!

Worst service EVER. Do not spend your money. Went last Friday night, waited 20 minutes for drinks. The drunks at the bar were getting service, but the nice people at the tables have a horrible experience. When we finally got the crabs, they were old, it's obvious they were recooked and rubbery. I complained but was FORCED to pay for nasty food. That manager should lose his job. Nasty, nasty, nasty place!

Worst service, crabs, and manager, ever! These were OLD recook crabs, how nasty! Driving through Maryland, I thought that a "local" place would be the best to stop - NOT SO. And whatever you do, if you order it, you buy it like it or not. That's how the manager acted - wow, I will watch patiently and cheer the day this dump closes!

This place is horrendous! My family went for crabs, paid top $ for #1s, they were smalls, at best and old, recooked, and smelled nasty. When asking to see the manager, were confronted by the rudest nastiest man in the world who told us "everyone likes their crabs". He made us pay for our meal when we barely touched one crab each - this place is a rip off and run by a tyrant! Do not go here, I never will again!

I've never had such slow service. We waited around 20 minutes at a table with no service. We just left. I found these reviews on my phone while I was wasting time getting served and glad I did so. Thank you, I-phone!

Gross place, took my family there last weekend. I wish I had seen these reviews before going. We got there 3pm on Saturday - figured it was an "off" time so service would be good. NO. Took 20 minutes to even come back from getting drinks to get our order. Then, ordered crabs, which were recooked, some of them even cold. Tried to tell the "wise guy" style manager (he had a major attitude with us). He said "everyone" loves the crabs there. I guess I'm not part of "everyone". We paid for basically NOTHING, left and had a wonderful dinner out elsewhere with FRESH delicious crabs. NEVER returning!

After reading the other reviews, I am shocked. We went to Mick's strictly for crabs and they were wonderful. We picked 1 dozen jumbo that were in fact expensive( I think they are expensive everywhere) but meaty and tasted great. Service was totally attentive and helpful.

Wish I'd found this website reviews sooner. This place is dirty and the service is slow. I complained after waiting 45 minutes and no drink refills for my family, no updates, and the manager came over and basically cussed us out. We left without paying and the manager said he was going to call the police on us. We didn't think we should pay for drinks, but did to keep out of trouble. This is the most poorly run restaurant I've ever witnessed in my 52 years of living!

I went to Mick's crab house with my family on 04/12/14. Myself and my husband ordered the Rockfish meal. When the meal came I took two bites of the fish to taste and it was bland and flavorless. We I advised the waitstaff that I wanted to return my meal and order a different entree, I was confronted by the owner and he told us that he would not refund our money because this was a good dish. After repeated attempts to try to resolve the issue and the owner being very rude, confrontational, disrespectful and irrational the police had to be called. I will NEVER go to this place again and the owner fought us over a $24 meal when our bill was over $100 and that didn't include the other guest at our table. Please don't go to this restaurant if you don't like eating food that is nasty and bland.

My mother died on May 14, 2013. We arranged with Mick's to have a luncheon there after the funeral. The owner asked what time we would be arriving. I told him I couldn't give him a definite time but the funeral was at 11, then the burial and it should take roughly 90 minutes to 2 hours. He gave me his number and said call before you leave for the cemetery. So after the service I call Micks and said we are going to the cemetery now. His response"so". I was a little confused but was too upset to give it a second thought. We went to the cemetery and when that ended I decided to call Micks again to tell him we were on our way. His response "and what do you want me to do". We arrive to find the doors locked. My mother was 83 and her friends were all seniors with various issues and Micks made us wait for over 30 minutes outside. A lot of these elderly people needed a seat. I called Micks again and asked please open the door there are people who need a seat. He said no that because I didn't give him a time that he's not ready. Finally he opens the door and the first person waiting to walk in the owner looks right at him and says I don't need your f-ck-ng attitude. We came in nothing was ready. Flat soda, no ice. I just buried my mother and needed Micks to step up and to say I was disappointed is a major understatement. I will never, ever eat there again and make sure to tell everyone about that place. I look forward to the day they go out of business.

WOW, wish I'd found these reviews first. What a dump. Rude, slow service, place was not clean and bar overfilled with drunks from happy hour. Food tasted like it was reheated frozen garbage. DO not take your family here!

Wow, wish I had found these reviews before stopping in this place. Went for a graduation dinner. I am from Elkton, but moved away years ago. Our family had never been, but it looked "fun" and we all love seafood. HUGE mistake. My husband got crabs, there was NO meat and tasted/smelled old. My fish was way overcooked, almost like fish jerky. My mother got scallops that were chewy. The shrimp was also overcooked. We complained and the "manager" REFUSED to correct anything and forced us to pay. STAY away, this place is horrible and they ruined a great celebration.

Wish I had read reviews first. This place is nasty. Service was slow, cocktails aweful - how do you mess up a dacquiri? They managed to do so. Violently ill from eating the scallops that tasted funny. When trying to complain, I was told everyone liked them there and they refused to get a different meal. POORLY run and a mistake to walk into the front door!

This place is loud and the food is lousy. Had prime rib and it was obviously reheated, not fresh. My wife had scallops, said they didn't taste right then got violently ill from eating there. Will NEVER return!
