I went to Golden Peacock last Friday and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. When we arrived, there were only two occupied tables, but soon enough the place was packed with people lining up for takeout orders. The pork fried rice was absolutely amazing and we will definitely be returning for more of the best Chinese food in town!

I have to agree with Carol. We frequent this place very often, and every time I've been there, the same things cost more. Our regular order when from $ 40 to $50 to $60. When I asked why, I was told that they had to raise their prices 10% due to Covid. But it's like they raise them 10% every week! They told me to look for the menu on Facebook. I could not find it. So I googled and looked at a picture of a menu on a site but that one showed the same prices as the printed menu I had. They have priced themselves out of our market. Just too much of a shock.

Got the nastiest surprise when I went to pick up my order. According to their on line menu it should have cost $32.75. He charged me $52.10! When I complained he got really rude with me. I told him according to his online menu it should have been $20 less.. He began yelling at me when I told him he needed to update his online menu, saying it was the same as his hand out. I told him it was not. He was a very unpleasant man. Check out his online menu. It's a rip off. It hasn't been updated in 6 years. Buyer beware. Yes the food is good but I don't like being ripped off.

Food was very tasty but disappointed that when my son went to pick up our order only then was he told there was no wonton soup. There answer was we looked at an old menu and then said they were all out!!!!!
Will definitely order again, not that far a drive from Holyoke and food was still hot.
Egg Foo Yung was delicious as well as the lo mein!

now and then i've tried different Chinese Restaurants, but there's no comparison at all. Golden Peacock has the best tasting, freshest food with generous proportions.....The atmosphere is nice, clean and warm. Great place to celebrate special occasions.

Staff is always very friendly, restaurant is clean, and the service is always great. The food is really really good. One of the best Chinese food Restaurants in Westfield!

The food and service here was really good! I'm a vegetarian and had the General Tso's (Taos) Tofu and loved it, my friend is a meat-eater and had the chicken fingers and pork. he said it was some of the best he's ever had. They had many menu choices for us to both try. The bar area seemed perfect for an after work meeting so we plan to suggest that to our co-workers.
