Order ahead to avoid long lines at Bagel World, where the asiago bagels toasted with scallion cream cheese are a must-try. The bagels are fresh, the variety is impressive, and the staff is accommodating, making it a top spot for delicious bagels in New England.

Spoilage alert- Excellent bagels, but DO NOT BUY their flavored cream cheeses.
The flavored cream cheeses, such as the Garlic Herb, are usually good, but Bagel World is happy to sell them after they have expired, and started to spoil. I bought some in the past, and they took a package out of the refrigerator in the front, looked at the label, and obviously took it behind the counter, and put a new lid with a new label on the package. The cream cheese had some pink mold growing on it, and it was not just colored from the veggies, despite what the manager said. They also claim they have such high turnover that nothing has a chance to expire, this is not true.
I stopped buying the flavored cream cheeses a few years ago (pre-pandemic), but someone else who is not aware of their issues bought some; the expiration date was badly smudged, but seemed to be several days in the past, and the cream cheese had the pink mold again. I contacted them with a complaint, but I expect them to deny the issue, just like in the past.
