08/15/2021 - first timer
I ordered from Comella's for the first time yesterday. What is pictured on the online order page is different than what I got. The image of stuffed shells showed two stuffed shells, but my order came with only one. The place to order didn't specify that there was only one shell - I went by the picture and assumed two shells came with the order.

The eggplant parmisian was stacked up pretty thick in the corner of the container and had sauce and cheese only over the top of the whole container, which was full of Ziti. Nowhere did I see that the eggplant entree came with ziti or I would have ordered it on the side.

Both orders were covered in thick cheese so I couldn't see what they were, and thought, at first, I was given the wrong order. I may have missed details on the order page, but I thought I reviewed everything carefully because it was my first time ordering from Comella's.

As I went back to see what I did wrong, I recognized that the web page is not clear and needs attention. There is room for improvement, which may be completely out of local control, so my feedback is directed toward the corporate level department that creates and maintains the order on line directly from Comella's page.

I am trying to attach photos of the items on the menu from the web page, so you might better understand my comments.

If they don't attach, please see the order page from the view of the user. Please note the difference in the image of the chicken parm and the eggplant parm. The chicken parm is pictured with ziti and the eggplant parm is not. Also, the shells no pasta image has two shells in it, not one.

First time customer: Take-out ordering was efficient and pickup ready on time, and the servings were large-as advertised. The problem was the quality of the food. I ordered calamari (an appetizer more expensive than the entree): it was sliced too thin, over cooked to the point of dryness-and we just threw it out. The Caesar salad was mostly croutons with a nondescript dressing. The chicken parmesan was adequate, but it was evident that the pasta was cold or luke-warm when they added the hot chicken and cheese.
Very disappointing, since this is a close-to-us place in town, and we had hoped to use it frequently.
