Great Food.

The greens and chicken were amazing. My eggs initially came out cold. My mother had to kill 3 bugs that appeared to be gnats while eating. I wanted to purchase a mask and seasonings. Neither were available. This was my birthday trip and I made sure to mention it to the staff as well as the significance of Mahogany being that it is my poetic name. No acknowledgement was made in regards to it being my birthday whether it be with a song or free dessert. Not to mention, I drove 3.5 hours just to have the Mahogany experience. It would have been amazing had it been offered to order the seasonings or some alternative gesture. As well, due to this being my first time eating here I was unaware that the fruit and pancakes would be topped with chives. It would have been nice to have been given the option to have with or without chives. The website should also highlight the differing menus between lunch and dinner.
Due to the restaurant not having the seasonings I desired, I ordered them online on November 25th. I have yet to receive them or any updates from my order however the money has been withdrawn. I attempted to contact the restaurant over the phone but the line keeps ringing and going to voicemail. I also submitted an email but have yet to receive a response. I also tried to reach out via Messenger and was advised management would be contacting me. I have yet to hear anything.

On behalf of the TN Dept. of Labor & Workforce Development , We would like to thank the owners and staff of Mahogany Restaurant for serving and donating lunch, to our staff of essential workers during this time of Covid-19. We appreciate the Owners of Mahogany for thinking of us and our staff and the hard work that we do in helping those unemployed people complete and receive there unemployment benefits. The food that you served and donated to our staff was excellent, and the entire staff loved it.
