I recently visited for my first time, being in Memphis briefly for business. After asking my collegues where to go, Chao Praya was the unanimous response. Taking their advice proved to be a good idea. Being from Atlanta, I was familiar with Thai food, and found the food at Chao Praya to be exquisite. The balance of spicyness, sweetness, and sourness was perfect in my yellow curry. The service and decor were unpretentious and therefore very comfortable. It was a welcoming place, and I hope to be sent to Memphis again soon so that I may revisit and satisfy my craving for more.
