Jim and NICKS used to be the best place for a barbeque sandwich and fresh cut fries. Today we stopped here and had the usual sandwich and fries. Sandwich didn't taste as good as it used to and fries were awful. Seems they changed the type of potatoes used for fries and now are using some kind of gold potatoes. The fries are pretty good while hot but the longer they sit on a plate the drier they become. Don't think we will return.

Visited the restaurant July 29, 2010. Server was young and inexperienced but friendly. He immediately advised that they were out of beans and baby back ribs. (How can a Memphis BBQ place be out of beans?) We ordered drinks -- 3 margaritas with one frozen. The server brought thee on the rocks and we sent one back. He returned saying they do not have frozen drinks. I had the spare ribs and pulled pork with fries and cold slaw. The ribs and pork were undercooked. The ribs did not come clean off the bone and the pork was rubberie. The fries were luke warm and limp. The cold slaw was okay. I will probably not go back.

On 03-06-09 visited restaurant in Cordova, TN. We were seated and greeted by the server, no problem.
Server came to our table or near on 4 different occasions without asking for our order. Advised the server that we were ready to order, again he went off and found another to wait on and several other things to do rather that take our order.
It was then we just left and probably will not return, when on my lunch hour I don't have a lot of time to wait for discourteous servers to decide to take my order.
