The restaurant had excellent service, cold drinks, and delicious food at great prices. It stands out as one of the top spots in the Lakeland/Arlington area, possibly even in the midsouth for American/Mexican cuisine. The lively atmosphere, filled with families enjoying themselves, adds to the overall experience. The Mexican dishes, such as chorizo quesadillas, are particularly outstanding and worth trying.

I love this place! Their guacamole is excellent! In fact, it is the only Mexican restaurant where I have ever thoroughly enjoyed the guacamole BECAUSE it is freshly made! I've worked in Mexican restaurants and have eaten in hundreds of them during my 49 years but no one has ever come close to fresh guacamole than Pericos. My personal favorite menu item is the fajita nachos. And here's a hint for you: if you like a bit of spice and you don't see the chipolte sauce bottle on your table, get some! It's absolutely splendid. The only thing we didn't care for is the Queso Fundido which is queso with chorizo mixed in. I like both queso (in fact, my husband and I always order a large queso dip at every Mexican restaurant when we give our drink orders) and chorizo. However, neither of us liked the queso fundido here so we returned back to our regular queso dip. Great prices for a meal that will fill you up! We always have to get a to-go box or two. Highly recommend!

i love this place but half of the waiters and employees don't speak English. It's a great place to eat, especially if you get one of the fluent English speakers
