- Our friends at Might Peace Coffee have been hard at work to help bring us this very special delivery of coffee that we will be featuring in the cafes for the next month or tow. Say hello to the Might Peace Congo Umoja. It is the first coffee we have brought in from the South Kivu region in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. The cooperative has been working on increasing the quality of the coffee over the last 10 year, in order to help improve the living conditions of its members. The Umoja is truly one of the most unique coffees we have had an honor of roasting. We treated it very delicately in the roaster to highlight the intrinsic acidity while developing enough body to create a substantial, drinkable cup. Once in the cup, the Umoja offers up an explosion of flavors, featuring a tight, bright acidity and clean tropical overtones. - Churchills 2013 Lbv
- Alluring, with a singed juniper note out front, followed by broad and fleshy waves of fig, boysenberry, plum and blackberry compote. Lots of licorice root and bittersweet ganache flavors coat the finish, while the fruit keeps pace. A dense, character-filled LBV that shows the quality of this vintage. - Tommasso Bussola Valpolicella Ripasso
- 2013 - This single vineyard Ripasso is fermented with selected yeast for ten days, then refermented on the skins of Amarone for another ten days, this compact and concentrated red wine was aged for 17 months in big oak barrels. Rich and spicy aromas, with hints of red berries, cherries, black pepper and balsamic herbs lead to a juicy and smooth palate. Intense and well structured, with a long finish.

- Heinrich Spindler Organic Riesling Trocken
- 2015 - Organic/Biodynamic. The grapes for this wine are sourced from Spindler’s vineyard holdings in Ruppertsberg, Freidelsheim and Niederkirchen; it was fermented in stainless steel until dry with both ambient and cultured yeasts. It is a pure expression of Pfalz exotics: passion fruit, peach, almond blossom. Dry, biodynamic, fruity, aromatic, un-oaked, racy. Chicken, duck, fish, cheese.
- Niepoort 10yr Tawny
- Golden in color, exhibiting a complex aroma of dried fruits dominated by orange peel and dried figs, as well as walnuts and roasted almonds. A floral touch completes the aroma. On the palate it is very fine and balanced, with a vibrant acidity balancing its sweet character, interacting with the fortifying spirit to perfection and giving the wine a superb structure.

- The first of it's kind, a 100% organically grown and produced Tawny port. If there's one house that can create an amazing Tawny, it is Infantado. Rich and Luscious on the palate, it shows decadent notes of caramelized walnuts and coffee syrup. This Port will not disappoint those looking for a sweet fix yet it showcases a vibrancy and lift that works to create an elegant balance between sweet and savory.

- Labruyere Moulin A Vent “ceur De Terroirs”
- 2014 - Grand Cuvee. This selection is sourced from the vineyards of Champ de Cour and Clos du Carquelin where vines are very densely planted in soils of granite and quartz. Vines here average 50 years old. Very elegant, beautiful aromatics of violet, cherry blossom, black raspberry fruits and spice.
- Domaine Begude Etoile Chardonnay
- 2014 - Organic. Here is a incredible effort coming from the Languedoc region of France. It's smells like a baby Meursault style with creme brulee, pain grille notes followed by baked fall apple/pear fruits with rich tropical notes. Great texture, full bodied chardonnay that fills the palate yet perfectly balanced. An over-achiever and great value.--Finn
- Lustau East India Solera
- Made from 2/3 Oloroso and 1/3 Pedro Ximénez aged for 9 years then put back into barrel. A deep, thick, coffee coloured wine. Rich raisin scents with just the faintest hint of beef tea.
- Chateau La Tour De By Medoc
- 2015 - This is dominant in Cabernet in this Bordeaux blend. Rich, thick aromas of blackberry fruits, black currant, cassis, leather, eucalyptus and peppercorns. The palate shines with the quality of the 2015 vintage with richness and density of the black fruits swaying into textural, dry chewy tannins.--Finn
- Rustenberg John X Merriman
- 2013 - Traditional Bordeaux blend of Merlot, Cabernet, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. A powerful wine that rewards aging. In its youth the wine is worth decanting and expresses cassis, black currant and dark fruits complemented with cigar tobacco and sour cherry notes. As the wine ages and its fine-grained tannins soften, a softer more savory palate develops revealing wonderful drink ability and tertiary complexity.
- Groth Sauvignon Blanc
- 2015 -Produced from grapes grown in various microclimates in Napa Valley; resulting in wines with a lush, full melon/citrus character in the aroma and flavor. The cooler Napa Valley fruit provides a solid, crisp backbone that gives the wine an exciting liveliness that balances the rich creaminess from "sur lie" aging.

- 2013 - A profound red with plenty of regional character and floral notes with heightened acidity that adds brightness. Polished and firm tannins carry the round and ripe red fruit flavors through to a balanced and elegant finish.
- Textbook Napa Merlot
- 2011 - Proprietors Jonathan and Susan Pey have produced a beautiful 2012 Merlot from Rutherford. The color is nearly black and the wine is deep and full-bodied with lots of chocolaty berry fruit. This is a bigger, bolder, more exuberant, forceful style of Merlot than one normally sees in California. It should drink well for 7-10 years. --91pts Wine Advocate

- 2017 - Beautiful light rose-salmon color with aromas of ripe tropical fruit, revealing accents of tangerine and hints of ginger. The palate is broad and rich, with well-spiced flavors of raspberry, currant, and dark cherry. The finish is long and rich. Serve chilled, and enjoy.

- 2016 - The 2016 Shiraz shows textbook black pepper spice and violets on the nose, with hints of Cape fynbos and black currant. The intense fruit flavors follow on the palate with firm tannin and fresh acidity that promises great ageing potential.

- Domaine L'ostal Cazes Minervois
- 2014 - This medium to full-bodied, upfront and charming effort has lots of black raspberry, currants and cassis in its balanced, mouth filling and fruit forward style. I don’t think it will make old bones, but it’s certainly a solid drink to enjoy over the coming 5-6 years.

- 2018 - Showing off aromas of dried cherries, rose petals, and a hint of dark chocolate, this is a truly extraordinary Pinot Noir. Sultry tannins and balanced acidity support flavors of cola, lavender, exotic spice, and just a trace of vineyard terroir in a lasting finish.

- 2022 - Juicy peaches, pineapple and lime greet the nose, followed by vanilla and cedar. Ripe tropical fruit and fig jam flood the lush, silky palate. Soft spice, vanilla and nectarines mark the lengthy finish, while fresh, mouthwatering acidity leaves you longing for another glass.

- Mosse Majic Of Ju Ju Anjou Sec
- 2015 - Organic. This is a very complex, mineral driven with a big creamy backbone. Aromas of pear, honeysuckle, melon, peach, quince with a toasty, creamy, nutty backdrop. Very precise palate that needs to be fleshed out with time before serving, about an hour or so.
- Gobelsburg Gruner Veltliner Langenlois
- 2015 - It contains young-vines juice from the sites Redling, Thal, Lamm (!), Renner and Grub. It shows superb focus in an herbal direction; hyssop and spearmint, leading into a spicy finish that leaves a tingle behind. Mid-palate is tense and vigorous, with “physio” sweetness. – Terry Thiese
- Einaudi Nebbiolo
- 2016 - This is a very cool new wine from Einaudi, this vintage is made exclusively from Barolo vineyards. This wine is a lively and elegant red, medium-bodied with buoyant red berry fruit and subtle spices; it has loads of charm, and is a perfect companion to a variety of dishes and delightful to enjoy on its own.
- Colombera & Garella Brameterra
- 2015 - Aromas of underbrush, rose petal, flint and dark spice waft out of the glass. The structured elegant palate offers red-cherry, raspberry, clove and star anise flavors set against fresh acidity and a firm backbone of refined tannins. Give this time to let the nervous energy calm down and you'll be rewarded with even more complexity.
- Owen Roe Sharecropper Chardonnay
- 2015 - The lower elevation vines produce tropical and citrus characteristics such as pineapple, grapefruit and lemon. The upper vines have more intense acidities; these vines struggle to survive and lend minerality to the final blend. 35% new french oak and 40% malolactic fermentation contribute rich, unctuous, and complex flavors such as butterscotch, crème brûlée, marshmallow, and vanilla bean.
- Domaine Richard Rottiers Moulin A Vent
- 2015 - Move over rover, a new sheriff moved into Beaujolais! This is hands down a power-house Moulin a Vent with big black cherry, red currant, lavender, plum aromas. This wine really shines on the palate full of intense red berry fruits, substantial yet silky tannins. Truly a lovely wine.--Finn
- Susana Balbo Signature Rose Del Valle De Uco
- Sonoma Loeb Sangiacomo Chardonnay
- 2015 - From its gorgeous nose of guava, lychee, nectarine and lemon custard, to its rich and silky mouthfeel, this is a vibrant and beautifully proportioned wine. On the palate, lively flavors of apricot, Meyer lemon and green apple are underscored by sweet and savory notes of melted butter and fresh baked pie crust, as well as hints of vanilla and clove.
- Muga Rioja Reserva
- 2013 - Aromas of ripe fruit are overtaken by a red-berried fruit component, accompanied, at almost the same level, by a wide spectrum of white blossom. It has a fresh mouth-feel, almost giving the impression of having mentholated nuances, with a presence of fruit liqueur. It can seem quite a strange combination. Spicy and leaves new hints of liqueur fruit at a second level, but this time much more complex in character.
- Zorzal Eggo Cabernet Franc
- 2014 - Incredibly perfumed for a Cabernet Franc, as the nose is very floral and made me think of a Malbec rather than a Cabernet Franc. The spiciness of all these Eggo wines comes from the grapes and the fermentation and aging in cement, as none of the wines see any oak. And I tell you one thing, you do not miss the oak or the complexity or anything, it's all here. This is the first year for this vertical, fresh, tremendous Cabernet Franc. - 2017 - This wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation, as do all the wines. It is the only wine in the line-up that fully ferments in stainless steel where it spends one year on its fine lees. It is a crisp, fresh, aperitif-style grüner that is salty and easy to drink. Aromatic, floral, crisp, dry, mineraly, unoaked. Fish, shellfish, cheeses, chicken.
- Marchesi Di Gresy Sauvignon Blanc
- 2018 - A deep, intense style of Sauvignon Blanc displaying ripe aromas of peach, wild flower, pear, citrus with a linear mineral note. Very aromatic mouthfeel with an abundance of citrusy flavors, green herbs and bright, flavorful, dry finish.--Finn
