Driving through Dos Palos after several years, I decided to stop for a meal at Taco Grotto, owned by my friends, the Doucettes. The tacos were fantastic, reminiscent of the ones I make at home, though the jalapeños caught me off guard in my burrito. I also tried their bacon cheeseburger, which was absolutely delicious and left me wishing I could have come back every day during my trip.

Went to visit a friend in Dos Palos, the Grotto burger blew my mind. Ate one almost everyday. I wish I knew the recipe for it. I haven't been there since the Obama years.
