The staff ability to hold reservations and their treatment to repeated customers who pay cash (and tip well!) leaves much to be desired. On 4/23/2021, I called the restaurant at 11:50 am and reserved a specific table for 6:00 pm of the same day. They confirmed the reservation for said table.
Upon arriving at the restaurant at 6:00 pm, the table I reserved 5 hours and 10 minutes earlier was occupied. One staff, as opposed to be apologetic for the situation, nonchalantly shook in his hand in direction to another table and told us to sit there, adding that he could not ask the other people who were occupying the table I reserved several hours earlier to change tables. This showed poor customer service skills and sensitivity to the customer.
Their excuse was that the individuals occupying the table I had reserved had been there since 11ish am that morning. This is an invalid reason or excuse that seems to show either or both of the following:
(1) Staff cannot be trusted to hold your reservations, even when you make a reservation five hours earlier and the reservation is confirmed by them. They are not trustworthy.
(2) Staff does not treat all customers equally and gives preferential treatment to certain clients. It is worth noting in the past I have not been able to sit in the table of my preference because either the table was already reserved, or it was occupied. I have understood this and sat in a different table. However, when you reserved a table 5 hours and 10 minutes earlier and the staff does not respect your reservation but makes you respect others, you are not being treated equally.
Do not come here. There is no guarantee they will hold your reservation or treat you equally to other customers.
