Manager is super rude. Claims to be understaffed but only for groups of 6 or larger even if you offer to be split up. Just don't waste your time here. There's a reason the reviews all over the internet are bad, this place is garbage.

You guys are all insane. You DO NOT have to be Russian to go there, there are people of all nationalities that work there. In case you've never been to Sunny Isles, many of the people that live and work there are generally Russian.....so I suggest you go somewhere else if you don't enjoy Russian waiters or people in general.
Porterhouse has amazing food, music, and drinks! Enjoy

I arrived early for dinner with friends. I sat at table outside. A large mean Russisn msn came to my table and told me that the table was for 2people or more. I told him that I was waiting for 3 of my friends. He told me to wait at the bar. I told him that they would be arriving any minute and stayed at the table. The waitress came and I ordered a drink. My friends came several minutes later and sat down. The angry Russian man came back and said that no one would be served. I asked why and he just walked away. My friend asked again why service was refused and he told us to GEZt OUT!!!! We were so afraid and we left . Be careful if you go there.

I used to eat at the Porterhouse in it's original location North of where it is located now. Had not eaten there in a long time, but heard they had a great Lobster Special. A friend and I went there a couple of months ago for the Lobster dinner and had no problems whatsoever. The service and server's were just fine, and the food was delicious! The friend I went with that night went back there with someone else just last week, and said the Lobster was terrific and they had a very nice evening. I am planning to go there again next week to celebrate some family birthday's, and don't anticipate any problems. If you treat people properly, they reciprocate with the same.

tonight i went to eat some chicken wings and after I'm done i went to the bathroom to wash my hands and there is not soup, I ask the bartender if she can give me a little bit of soup from the kitchen or from somewhere and she went to talk to the owner that was siting in a table with one of the young waiter in he's lap and she told hem that i need soup to wash my hands and he replay there is no soup available without even looking at me, when i ask hem why he don't have soup in he's bathroom he star screaming with a Russian accent on me in front all the customers and he told me to leave he's place and never come back! I swear to GOD!!! can you guys believe this is happening in USA? because I can't!

I love this place! At least once in a month me and my husband go there. Girls are always nice with us! Food is really good, especially chicken wings - they are the best!!!

The manager I spoke to can hardly be called a human being. He has no concept of how to interact with people, I can just imagine how he treats animals. The servers are less than desireable. Very poor English, very poor service. Service charge is mandatory so be careful.

TRULY DESPICABLE! I just left there - and this review is no exaggeration! 2 friends & I (all women) went there to have a cocktail and dinner. We asked for seperate checks and were told they could not do that. We accepted, but said we were paying with 3 seperate credit cards. At that point, we browsed the menu and one of my friends started discussing the reviews of this establishment she had recently read online. The server apparently heard us from the adjacent table and much to our dismay, returned telling us that the manger was refusing service to us! He literally kicked us out and refused to give us the drinks we had already paid for! We called the police! When they arrived they eagerly assisted us the best they could and after speaking to the manager they returned to us and said " you can't arrest someone for being an a*#^hole!" They have apparently had similar complaints regarding this establishment, specifically the manager. I dine out in Miami several times a week and have never in my life experienced such blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism! DO NOT GO HERE!
