This place is the best.Chicken is amazing the best I've had I would say 100 % better then Frankenmuth chicken. Don't judge a book by its cover it dosen't look kike much from the outside but it's good

It's been a couple years since we traveled from our home in Illinois to Michigan for Chicken in the Rough. But as a child we ate Chicken in the Rough every Monday night on Route 66 in Pomona California. Later After Pomona Pump company went out of business, we moved to Arcadia California, where there was another Chicken in the Rough also on Route 66 not far From the Santa Anita Horse track . Both restaurants Sold great Chicken . We made to Michigan so I could share the meal with My wife and our children. I want to go back one more time before I turn 72!. In Pomona the meal was served with a small red plastic bucket with warm water water and a slice of lemon and a large white cloth napkin, no greasy hand ! Make the Trip to Port Huron Michigan you will not be sorry .
