Garrett's in Houghton Lake is a frequent dining choice for us. The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The friendly staff adds to the overall positive experience.

Love the fish dinners. Absolutely the best strawberry shortcake and biscuits. Delicious. Very good beef barley soup. All breakfast items, very tasty. Love this place

We went for supper I ordered halibut and frys extra crispy when they came they were barley cooked ,server comes takes my plate brings it back with the fish ,so she took it back and they scraped frys off my fish were very greasy, she brings back my frys.We finish she drops the bill no how was your meal??? Did you want desert???? We won't return o refuse to pay my hard earned dollar for that food and the poor service !!!

stay away !!!! waitress was terrible was so high she spilled my drink all over and was so rude !!went to complain and another waitress said the owner does nothing about it because the waitress tabatha was his girfriend . will never get my buiseness again or my family.. i found out from friends they had similer experience with that waitress and they complained to owner to no avail. food was not very good either . did not enjoy my food at all . stay away and keep your famoly away you dont want your kids seeing that !!!

i think this resturant has amazing customer service.. the food is excellent and the atmesphere is up north cabin like.. family resturant.. and the reason i know this is because i go and work there everyday!! please come try us out..
