Whenever I travel through upper Michigan, I eagerly anticipate dining at this charming old-school restaurant. The delicious southern-fried chicken, paired with homemade sides and a cozy ambiance, takes me back to my childhood meals at Grandma's house. With friendly service and an atmosphere that feels like home, it's a dining experience that you won't want to miss.

Love this place. The old house converted to a restaurant is a throw back to 40's or 50's. Very quaint and very clean. It's specialty is family style pan fried southern style chicken with all the trimmings....all you can eat. The best I've ever had hands down. They were I believe what Frankenmuth modeled their menu from years ago. Regardless...after eating at Iva's I will always drive the extra half hour and could never eat at Frankenmuth again. If you crave old style chicken dinners....it's that good.
