Mancino's Pit Stop in Oscoda provides excellent service. It is a very welcome from the ordinary. The portions are sufficient enough for seconds the next day, if you wish. we frequently travel from Oakland County on weekends for their Fried Fish Dinners. The breading is light, and tasty. The fish is very fresh. If fish is what you might, call them first to let Matt know you are on your way, and he'll make sure there is a dinner for you. This item is very popular and is only available on Friday/Saturday.
Their ribs are smoked in house, and these are excellent as well. The pizzas are hand-crafted and are similar to what you can find in Ann Arbor at Zingerman's. Plenty choices to eat here. Unusual find on the sunrise side. Come and get it.

I have no idea why there are bad reviews. The Grinders are great and not over-priced! I have been to all restaurants in the area, best value for the money. Pizza is good, better than the cheap chain pizzas.

A lot of bad reviews in 2010......in 2013 their food was excellent. Well proportioned quality food...the saying goes..you get what you pay for...... The grinder smokehouse is by far my families favorite....

I have no idea why there are so many reviews with 1 star because this place is terrific. We live in Oscoda and find the menu and food excellent! They have homeade soups that are delicious and thier pizza is abslutely the best around! The crust and sauce are both homeade and not like the "pre-made" junk you get in other places. I love it and will continue to be a faithful follower! Give it a try!

We were on vacation in Oscoda and mom doesn't like to cook on vacation. So, my folks insisted we eat there instead of going to Burger King again. The pizza was awful and dad had heartburn all night.

Fancy names for the dishes on the menu, but the food is much less than stellar. There is nothing to recommend about this place.

We stopped on our way to Harrisville to pick up a lunch to picnic with. The teens said their sandwiches were okay, but my ribs were the worst I have ever had. Tasted like they had been smoked over old warehouse pallets.

I don't know why everyone has given a bad review of this restaurant. I am a fellow business owner in Oscoda and have enjoyed lunches and dinners from this Mancino's. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there are additional items on the menu that are fantastic and not traditionally found at other Mancino's restaurants. There is nothing bad about this restaurant, especially not enough to only give it one star. Bravo- we love this place!

I wish I had read the other reviews before stopping here. I had been out with the family and we just wanted a nice lunch. We picked the wrong place in Oscoda, that's for sure. The kids wouldn't finish their sandwiched - didn't like them even though our Flint Mancino's is one of their favorite places to eat. Priced way too high for what we got - priced less in Flint among other places.
