The take-out food here is always fresh and delicious, with a family-owned vibe that adds to the charm. I especially love their seafood rangoons and the house special fried rice, but everything from the General Tso's chicken to the spring rolls is consistently satisfying. After enjoying this restaurant for over 20 years, I can confidently say that it's my go-to for quick and tasty Chinese food, especially when I'm craving something comforting.

Amazing general chicken

Super good food. All chicken is breast meat and not chewy. They are happy to make special orders ( we like lo me in spicy and no veggies ) without extra charge. They even made almond chicken, which isn't on the menu, for my mother since it's her favorite. Very nice family operated place. I think people say that they are angry because they speak loudly while cooking so they can hear each other and its Cantonese ( listen to someone speak it, have them say no veggies in the lo mein, even when not loud it can sound mean. It's just the dialect and tone). They are very honest and if you have a conversation in English with one of them they are very happy and nice. As for the son who works there he is honest and when he was 12 ( now he is 16 ) I am sure he was shy and cautious. This shouldn't have made an adult patron upset, I don't know many 11 year olds working in a family business and that aren't shy. Mine doesn't even like ordering for himself because of shyness. Give this place a try. Real Cantonese food unlike the house of hsu around the corner which puts peas in everything ( in my general taso chicken, very weird ).

this food is the worse ever! I got the mongolian beef. it was 90% onions, and 10% beef at the most. I had three or four pieces of meat that I chewed and chewed, and finally had to spit it out in a napkin. My wife had the general tso Chicken-- the chicken meat was so chewy, it wasn't even edible- Save your money and go someplace else thank you

The food is OK but the little boy at the counter is extremely rude. He never charges us the right price, that's why I rarely ever go there unless it's our last resort.

Menu board and printed menu are priced differently. Little 12 year old kid kinda of rude along with his parents. When questioned about $$ was laughed at. Food was just OK, portion size kinda small along with not much rice. There were lots of unidentifiable vegetables because they were chopped so finely. No sauce was include. Not likely to return.

That 12 year old processes my entire order without writing a bit of it down and is thoughtful enough to ask if I need sauces or how spicy I might want it. He is always very polite and impressed me greatly with a credit card order I placed, then added an extra item. Adding it as a tip which I then initialed (very wise, I thought). The food is fantastic and I've learned a great deal about their country from chatting with the owner.

the worst service, the lady is soo rude and impatient even when i go in there with the utmost respect and kindness. Always soo rude to me. everytime i leave i throw a fit min my car saying i will never go back.. BUT!!!! i always go back because the food is soooo good. haha

A 12 year old child is dishonest? I would LOVE to meet the fool who wrote that comment. Listen FATSO, find another restaurant to complain about. Bamboo Gardens is the epitome (look it up in the dictionary) of the American Dream. The food is amazing, the little family who owns it are sweet and competent. There is ALWAYS one overweight fool who wants to find something wrong with everything. However, to curse this wonderful family is reprehensible.

This is a great place. It tastes good. Prices are great. Convenient. I recommend the Shrimp Mei Fun and Chicken Lo Mein, but all of the dishes are good.

The quality of the food is great - cooked fresh as ordered. Portions are quite large - especially for the price you pay. I've never had a problem with incorrect change and everyone has always been friendly. Love the boy that is always working hard on his homework - or learning something. So cute and he is whip smart. :) Thanks for coming to Grand Ledge!

Love the food! Amazing flavor and portions. I like the kid who works there too! Lately it has topped House of Hsu!

The owners kid wouldn't give me correct chagne. I gave him a $20 but would only give change for a $10. Owner came over and asked the kid something in Chinese and said the kid said I only gave him a $10. I gave him a $20....it was all I had. THIS OWNER AND KID ARE DISHONEST. I will NEVEr go there again nor will any of my FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!YOU SURE HAVE LOST LOSTS OF BUSINESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best chinese food I have ever had. I have eaten here many times and have never gotten bad food. They also give you the bang for your buck. They give you enormous portions that you will definately have leftovers.
